Many thanks to JB & Caroline for putting on a wonderful spread that consisted of marinated steaks, chicken wings,Italian sausage, kangaroo cipolatas, mini rissoles, great salads, salmon & spinach roularde, potatoe bake & bread.

For dessert we had cheese cake, pavlova and fresh fruit. All washed down with great red & white wines , then finished off with an excellent Single Malt Whiskey.

Throughout winter, Mt Donna Buang offers a winter playground of snow-play and tobogganing for all age groups. At a height of 1,245 metres, Mt Donna Buang often has moderate to heavy snow falls throughout the winter months. During the remainder of the year, it provides many tranquil and scenic rainforest walks and experiences which must be seen to be believed. The Rainforest Gallery includes a 40 metre long observation platform which takes you into the rainforest canopy (one of only three of its type in Australia). Mt Donna Buang also includes numerous magnificent and memorable walks, including a 350 metre long elevated walkway taking you through the rainforest where you will see majestic 65 metre tall trees (many of which are 300-400 years old).

Lake Eildon is the impoundment created by Eildon Weir on the Goulburn River. At 3,390,000 ML when full, it contains six times as much water as Sydney Harbour. It is the second largest water storage in Victoria. It is located within Lake Eildon National Park.

If you have not been to Diamond Valley Railway, it should be located in your mind's eye for this 184 mm (7 1/4") gauge railway is located in parkland in the suburb of Eltham close to the Diamond Creek, from which it gets its name. It began in this location in 1959, after the closure of the Chelsworth Park Railway.

Noojee township was first settled by gold prospectors in the mid 1860's. Tin was found in good quantities west of Noojee and a road was surveyed in 1878. This opened the area to farmers who selected land up to 15km north of the Latrobe River.
